We suggest that couples mentor couples. The most important qualification is a desire to help couples to have a healthy marriage. We ask mentor couples to be committed to one another and to be actively working on their own relationship.

In fact, we often recruit new mentors from couples that have been having problems. The act of mentoring helps both couples to improve their relationships.

This program is not intended to be a substitute for couple’s therapy with a licensed mental health professional. Some couples may be better served seeking out a licensed mental health professional. Examples of this include:
- Evidence of significant physical or emotional abuse to the point where one partner expresses fear of the other.
- A history of significant mental health problems in either partner that would hinder productive engagement such as significant depression, significant addiction issues, bi-polar disorder, or psychotic disorders including schizophrenia.
Yes! A small group works great with this material. There are a few differences and mentors have access to a group guide.
We offer this program through churches, mental health professionals, social agencies and recognized ministries. Mentors, therapists, pastors and counselors must be associated with a qualified organization.
A site administrator handles the registration of a site. The administrator is able to log in and create mentors and manage mentees. The site administrator does not have access to any of the couple’s information beyond name, email and to which mentor they have been assigned.
